NOMINATIONS FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS Having loyally served on the Board of Directors of MLMIA for ten years, or more, the following people have been appointed Director Emeritus of MLMIA as long as they are active members. Although they will not have a vote, they may attend board meetings and contribute their valued input. They will have the right to serve on their respective council or a committee and may chair that group. They may again be nominated for the Board after 3 years (they will loose their Emeritus status while serving but regain it upon completion of their term). Jeffrey Babener, Keith Laggos, Ken Pontious, Ed (Hugh) Clemmons, Del Hickman, D. Jack Smith, Dan Jensen, Christ Theodor and Robert Butwin. The Nomination Committee has selected the following to be presented to the membership for new board positions. Write ins are permissible. Each of you (that are a member) will have four votes in your respective categories. Board Members will serve for one term. The committee respectfully requests any comments and additional nominations be sent to the Association office before the close of nominations January 10, 1999. Each nominee will be notified of their nomination and asked for a statement and their resume. The full slate will be presented to membership in January. The new board will be seated at the next meeting at the Conference.
