Join us as a Product Manager - RiskModel working among the smartest and most often-quoted mortgage information professionals in the business. You will play a key role in the product management and ongoing development of LoanPerformance RiskModel, our industry-leading, loan-level mortgage risk management solution.
The responsibilities of this position include identifying, addressing, and fulfilling ahead of the curve mortgage risk management opportunities and solutions based on leveraging our data and analytics assets. The position also involves significant interfacing with our engineering, analytics and client services teams. Note: This position can be located in San Francisco, Sacramento or Santa Ana, CA.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have the following: • Minimum BA/BS degree (Master's preferred) in Finance, Economics or Business Administration • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in software product management and/or business analysis, including participating and contributing throughout the entire project life cycle from requirements gathering to delivery • Strong analytical skills with an understanding of statistical models and how they are used in a risk management solution • Ability to assess product opportunities through market research and client feedback to develop market sizing, pricing, costing and ROI analysis • Experience in working with MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project, SQL Editor and SAS • Excellent communication skills (including the ability to communicate and influence all levels of management), team-driven, client-focused and strong innovation/creativity
Preferred: • Experience in working with Intex, Bloomberg or similar mortgage-backed securities information tools • Experience in working with loan-level mortgage-backed securities data with an ability to specify default risk, prepayment risk and bond valuation metrics • Experience in working with offshore development teams • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project methodology
